Maria to NBC -- Keep Your $200k

TMZ has found out what went down between NBC and Maria Shriver. Fact is, it was chump change for Arnold's wife.

Here's what we know. Between 2005 and 2007, NBC gave Maria a "holding fee" of around $200,000 a year. The deal was that if she came back full time, the Network would resume paying her a pre-negotiated multi-million dollar salary. We're told NBC feared if they didn't pay her a holding fee to lock her up, another network would grab her -- and not in the way Arnold grabs.

Anywho, in March 2007, Maria pulled the plug because after the coverage of Anna Nicole's death she felt it was below her dignity to go back.

Anyone reading this who got the ax from NBC, this has gotta hurt.

3. I don't think there is any better picture of her! She is so fugly!! In person or on camera! Also I don't understand these comercials about tourism in California, why play them in California!? We live here, why do we need to visit!!! Stupid! And she is in that and she looks trashy! No wonder we don't get many tourists. She's scaring them all off!!! That's what she gets for being a democrat!

6. The only reason Maria Shriver got the job in the first place is because she's a "Kennedy." Anyway, a Democratic woman stupid enough to marry a Republican Nazi like her husband, doesn't deserve respect and she certainly doesn't deserve $200,000 for not appearing on air.

Time will tell just exactly how important the extensive coverage of Vickie Lynn Marshall's death was..."Anna Nicole" might have been, by behavior and choice of profession, a sordid, cartoonish type for the camera but as Vickie she was someone's mother, daughter, relative and friend. I suspect Maria's distate for "Anna Nicole" might stem from her social connections to the very powerful and very wealthy Marshall family.

15. NAZI! I'm not a fan of either Maria or Arnold but to be called a Nazi is a horrible thing to call somebody. Nazism was one of the worst that this world ever experienced and the horrible things that they did to many many innocents. Shame on you for even bringin that up. If you ever make it to Germany visit a former concentration camp and you will have a new outlook.
In a few words...GROW UP, and be more responsible by what you say. To any others out there, it's so easy to hide behind the text with anonomity. Disgusting!
